Dose of Clarity: Stop questioning & start trusting...

Don’t you just love a totally inspired idea? (I do!!) It wakes you up at night, feels totally thrilling, and you can’t help but think about it constantly and talk about it incessantly. You’re in love. Fired up. Ready. In flow.

Then you start questioning its viability. Doubting your ability to make it happen. Wondering if it’s really as good as you originally thought. Probably not...

And suddenly that totally lit-up feeling is replaced with a pit in your stomach. Now it seems too big, too worrisome, too impossible. What happened???!! How could something that felt so freakin’ good just days ago now feel so ughh?

In today’s Dose of Clarity episode I’m exploring this phenomenon and will be sharing why it happens and how you can avoid letting questions kill your dreams in the future.

P.S. If you’re ready to cultivate more Calm, Confidence and Clarity in your Life + Business, you need a Clarity Cleanse. Dose of Clarity: How to manifest anything you desire...

So first off, I have to let you in on a secret. I don’t really like the word “manifest”.

To me it suggests that there’s something magical about creating the life you desire. But honestly, nothing could be further from the truth. We ALL have the ability to create a life that we totally adore -- it’s our purest state and truest nature!

In today’s Dose of Clarity episode I’m diving into what manifesting means to me and how to harness it’s power to draw in the stuff you really want for yourself and your business.

Confession #025: "My first year was a year of self-discovery and trusting my instincts" with Michelle Knight

My first year was a year of self-discovery and trusting my instincts. I started this business with NOTHING in mind!
— Michelle Knight, Branding and Business Coach

Today's Clarity Confession is full of valuable insights from my friend, Michelle Knight. Michelle is a branding and business coach for female entrepreneurs who are tired of just surviving in their current job. Together, Michelle and her clients create a stand out brand for their business, so they can have their desired income and free up their schedule to spend time on what truly matters. After the birth of her son in December 2015, she launched her business, and left her 9-to-5 just nine months later.

During this interview, we spoke a lot about the importance of recognizing what is holding you back. In Michelle's case, fear became a huge obstacle that she had to work through in order to begin truly seeing results in her business. She had even celebrated her most successful weekend right before we recorded this interview! Michelle gives some practical tips for working through your fear and setting business goals.

Listen to Michelle's Clarity Confession to learn:

  • Why you should start before you're ready -- even if you don't know exactly what you want to do.
  • Michelle's four main tips for working through fear (and other mindset blocks)
  • The reason Michelle and I both recommend Gabby Bernstein's The Universe Has Your Back
  • Her best advice for maintaining momentum in your business.

P.S. Gabby Bernstein is hosting a special Facebook Live today to share the details about her Spirit Junkie Digital Masterclass. If you have any questions about the program, this is the perfect opportunity to find out more!

Confession #023: "Because I invested in a team of support right off the bat, She Oms was profitable much, much sooner." with Laura Diaz

Because I invested in a team of support right off the bat, She Oms was profitable much, much sooner.
— Laura Diaz

Laura Diaz is the CEO and Senior Strategist at Kiss Me Creative a boutique branding agency that works with outspoken entrepreneurs who are ready to be seen and adored by their dream clients. They provide strategy, visual design and web development, accompanied by copious amounts of coffee. Laura has nearly a decade of corporate marketing experience in the tech and hospitality industries. Her superpowers are efficiency, follow through and creativity based on sound logic.

At the time of our interview, Laura was working as a branding expert for wellness warriors and spirit supporters at She Oms, the company she founded by combining her corporate experience with her passion for yoga and the healing arts. At She Oms, Laura and her team taught entrepreneurs how to show up confidently and courageously as brands.

During her Clarity Confession, she reveals her formula for success -- surrounding herself with a team to help her achieve her mission of empowering female-preneurs to deliver their brands to the world. Without that support from the get-go, Laura admits she would not have the business she has today. (Definitely a valuable lesson for us solopreneurs who think we can do it all ourselves!)

Listen to Laura's Clarity Confession to learn:

  • The 3 Shared Traits of ALL Successful Brands - and how you can build them into yours
  • Why Laura's rise to entrepreneurial success was easier and more rapid than she expected (and how yours can be too)
  • The mindset shift you need to make in order to harness the flow of abundance
  • How Laura schedules her days for maximum productivity (and why she NEVER answers the phone on Mondays)

P.S. Do you ever wonder if the business you're building is really and truly aligned with what you're supposed to be doing with you life?

That's the ultimate question that we purpose-driven entrepreneurs face, right?

Is what I'm doing "on track" with my life's purpose?

And, it's a big, overwhelming question.

Sure, we all have rough days or even weeks when we're feeling down-in-the-dumps about our business - that's normal. But if you're questioning if you need to pivot your path in order to more fully align with your true purpose, I want to invite you to join me for a summer of soulful expansion for your business and life. I’m looking for 4 women to work with 1-on-1 this summer, are you one of them?
